Hi Guys, I was just wondering whether anyone from around the London area (I am in Borehamwood) has remapped their 996 Turbo. I currently have mine completely standard but am extremely curious about the potential gains that can be made if the car is remapped. I have a manual 03 plate which is a non-X50. Is there anyone who would be able to show me the difference in performance with a remap? Much appreciated. Nick

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

had Parr do mine (high boost map) with cargraphic exhaust and forge divertor valves. That package has turned it into an animal. mine also manual non x50. put it this way, it is hard to get the power down in the dry without wheelspin (in second). do that in a corner and it is snaking around. well worth it.
Originally I took the car from standard (non x50) and had a REVO map and EVOMS cold air induction kit fitted. The difference was like night and day. After 18 months or so I had the REVO taken off and had the upgrades listed by Speedybird put on by Parr. The difference between the REVO car and the Parr car was almost as much as the standard car against the REVO car. You are more than welcome to have a look at mine if you are passing Gatwick/Redhill area. O/T Gov - Trust you are enjoying it then
