Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you in advance. Does the 991 have any problems enginewise like the 997.1 had? (I know about the 991GT3 fire issues and that they are solved) Is the 997.2 Turbo and 991 Turbo issue free as well? ( I know they are not as strong as the Mezger cars, but would like to hear is they are pretty bulletproff when not tuned)

POST 2Original post

Suspect it is a bit too new to have any common problems, give it another 2 years or so eh?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found some info and it seems super reliable. The thread can be closed.

POST 4Original post

The only issue with the DFi engine and indeed any DFI engine is carbon build up in the heads but I am not aware that its a major issue. Perhaps a top end rebuild may be required at 100k+?
