Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hello all. This is my first post as a new member. I bought a beautiful shiny silver 06 s recently and am loving it. When I took it home I marveled at how accurate the positioning of the nav was as I have had nav units in my last 2 cars. This one was extremely accurate. I just took it in to the dealer because I had noticed the back lights for the drivers side window switches were not illuminating. The dealers (porsche of arlington) fix for that was to "reboot the system". The lights now illuminate properly, however I noticed now the nav unit thinks I am somewhere else all the time. It appears to be consistently off but it is difficult to determine. It could be completely random. This is beyond annoying and I don't like the idea of having to spend my time to take it in and risk more issues with the pcm module. Does anyone know how to re-calibrate the nav position? Is there a process in the user manual (don't have it readily available). Is Porsche of Arlington known for bad service? Any recommendations for an alternative service location? Thanks in advance!
