Someone's selling a decent priced 997 fabspeed exhaust here in the Dallas area but as the title states I have 996 c4s with the eisman tips. I know they have different part numbers but was wondering if anyone has been able to bolt one on and if so what modifications were necessary? Second option is just finding a local shop to do the fister mod but prefer to keep things intact

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Category: Engine - Exhaust Price: $289 Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Non-Turbo Location (State): NY Item Condition: Used Shipping Information: Item can be shipped Up for sale is a set of (I believe 1st Gen) Fabspeed Sport Exhaust for the 996. This came off my 2003 996 C4S. I will note that I upgraded my engine to the 997 C4S and this still fit fine in case any 997 owners are wondering if this will fit their car. Not sure what else would need to be done to 997 cars if anything. Reason I am selling is because I did the Fabspeed Muffler Bypass and LOVE IT and will keep this setup for a while. I absolutely loved this exhaust. Nice tone. Deep and aggressive. It bolts right on to stock tips and stock clamps. First $289 / OBO shipped takes it. Eugene

Quote: The 997 exhaust will not work on a 996. The outlet pipes on the fabspeed wont line with your 996. You're better off doing the fister mod. It's a great mod imo.
can this fit a 996 c2?
Quotes source post: 3572999
According to Fabspeed's website, http://fabspeed.com/996_GT3.html It looks like most of their exhaust for their 996 (minus) the turbo Fits all 996 C2/C4/C4S Vehicles 1998-2005 So I believe you shouldn't have a problem with this fitting your c2 Quote:

do you have a sound clip?

Unfortunately I don't have a sound clip. I never took one when it was on the car. I did do one with the muffler bypass that I just put on tho. You can search youtube for fabspeed muffler's on 996 Quote:
