Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Looking for a solution to the laggy performance of my 2007 Cayman S with Tiptronic automatic transmission. I am looking for something like "sport mode" ...which my car doesn't have (wifes newer BMW has it...love it). I don't like how the car shifts at about 2000 rpm's and can be in 5th gear at less than 2000 rpm's sometimes, at slower speeds, of course. It is fine when you can get on it, but living in So Cal, that is few and far between (traffic). Any advise regarding a software update or possibly installing factory sport mode? It seems to me that if I could have the car drive in "sport mode" all the time, I would never go back to the standard automatic mode...thank you for any advise
