Has anyone installed a set of the carbon fiber stone protectors commonly available on E-bay? Any comments as to fit and finish most appreciated.

I bought them and the quality was great...BUT THEY DON'T FIT A CAYMAN. I am sending mine back. The eBay guy apologized and said he thought they fit and to return them for a refund. I am sort of surprised he hasn't changed his ad. There is a flange on the Boxster body that flares out and we don't have the same flare. They simply don't fit unless you are willing to have a quarter inch gap at the bottom between the car body and the CF panel. You didn'[t ask about the CF mirror inserts...I have those and they are great, in my opinion. Now that I am going with the Cayman Gt decal, I am not as disappointed about the stone protectors. But I still think they look cool and serve a practical purpose.
