I have a 03 996 C2 Tip. The centre part of the dashboard which houses the PCM has started to rattle/buzz on certain road surfaces. If I press the top/side in with my hand it stops but starts immediately I let go. Currently I have a small folded post-it wedged under the top which works. Would prefer a more elegant solution. How does this panel section come away from the dashboard so I can investigate the rattle behind? Is it a DIY do-able? :?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

def do-able yourself, if you search the forum, there is probably a thread, or you can search for a movie on you tube... I've taken the surround off to carbon wrap it, so it's not a big job...
