Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I've diagnosed an annoying ticking noise to the trim piece to the right side of the glovebox (passenger side), and below the silver trim strip. Mine is covered in leather. Does anyone know how to remove this piece? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Can you better describe the piece or provide a picture. I'm unsure which part you're trying to remove.

POST 3Original post

Apologies, no camera on me at the moment. It is the leather-covered trim piece that follows the same contour as the glove box and is located between the glove box and the passenger door. Hope that helps!

POST 4Original post

Yes. It simply unclips from the bottom. Rotate it toward you to remove it.

POST 5Original post

Thanks much. Very helpful!!! Out of curiosity, where can I find other such information? Could be helpful in the future, as I expect other such rattles to come up!!!

POST 6Original post

That was taken from the Porsche Workshop manual. It's loaded with tons of good information. Inquire at your local parts department.
