G'day from Brisbane - it is that time for my official "Mid-Life" crisis as the Minister of War & Finance has authorised my Opex for my getting back into the fold .... Yes folks - Wife has said yes to the Porsche in the garage!!!!!!!!!!! Intentions are for it to be the interstate vehicle of choice, (have requirements to travel to Victoria, some 2,300km from here) 5-7 times per year, coupled with the occaisional track outing (just to show how crap my driving has become)! Currently negotiating with a contact in the UK ,looking at the 993 variants, manual (personal choice) and the car will be a keeper and is planned as a mild "outlaw" conversion. Looking for tips / pointers similar owners who do long haul milage (Europe / US / Aus) to arrive at a sensible compromise to achieve the above goals and if any other Aussie owners have any reccomendations for Independants down here in Australia
