Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just put my Cayman 987 through an MOT and it transpires that the hazards aren't working. Left and right indicators are fine, it's just the hazards. I thought it might be a fuse, but the fuse box diagram is less than helpful as it doesn't list a fuse for the hazards and I'm not savvy enough to interpret which one it might actually be. That's assuming, of course, that it has it's own fuse. If it's not the fuse then I guess the only other culprit would be the relay or the switch itself, but I'd rather start by checking the fuse, if anyone can point me at the right one. I should add that all 4 indicators flash when locking/unlocking the car, so it's probably unlikely that it's the fuse or the relay, but I should be thorough. Edited by DIW35 on Monday 23 May 14:30

Ive heard of the switches falling into the dash when pressed (ive never pressed mine) so may not be the most reliable of designs, i would be tempted to start at the connector on the switch?
