I was up to no good on another forum and found this and actually liked the look for a Martini on a GT3 body however mine is a 2000 black RUF style 996 and not sure. I shot an email out to the guy on cost just for grins.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Dedicated track car - cool! Street car.... meh.

+1 Looks nice, but I think you'd get tired of seeing it on your car everyday. Would look more at home on the track. Phil
Somehow, it looks 80's retro to me. Do you have to wear your parachute pants and Member's Only jacket when you drive it?
That's what I like is honest bone jarring honesty. I agree it is hard to pull off retro but I am older and am just stuck in the past and can't get up.
looks like a BMW track car type of thing... meh, not my thing
looks good on white, on black...not so much, and the whole martini livery would be lost.
It would be a little more low key on just the lower panels, without the big swoosh out back. A silver car would also be a good base.... (hey, my car is silver, ha.)

I like it. I think its as classy as it will get on the curves of the 996/997. It wont look right on black, silver mayyybe.
I think the older ones (911) where more square to the lines of the car and harder to pull off on the new body styles. I like the way it blended to the tail fin. I think I will try my hand at a graphix program.
Man $400 seems steep to me for stripes...just the sides or is that about right.
964? sure. 993? maybe. 996/997? eh, no. the GT3RS graphics are even borderline on the 997s IMO.
In black on a Turbo

+1 John
not a fan of side stripes..... how about just a stripe down the middle of the hood, roof, lid and both bumpers.
I like the white, dont like the black maybe if it had a GT2 wing

I was thinking of that awhile back that where in Porsche design black which was three strips and subtle, the reason is more for covering up some blemishes on the sides to they kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak.

I take offense to that comment! I did a DE few weeks ago and a 996 C4 (no Aero) had the Martini stripes down the middle. The car was completely stock and didn't look right. Oh and it was silver... Kinda like the the stripes just at the bottom with no swoosh up the rear fender. Reminds me of the old Porsche script I had on the '67.
I don't know blue stripes on a 911??

Was that car in a Charlie's Angels episode?
Doesn't look that good on a black car.
