Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Is there a place I checkout the standard wheels on a boxster 987 gen 1. I haven't figured out a way to attach an image in this forum :P but most of the ones I see are what seems to be called the "boxster s design" - which is 5 star 18" cheers

http://teile.com/foto/big/42fc7a4f11714b9e19794572... Pretty gash but the car will ride well, handle well, and they are cheap as chips to buy + the tyres are cheap. Probably well worth getting if u do trackdays

cheers for that. think i didn't make question clear :-) basically, i am looking to buy a 987.1 and want to check out the selection of wheels that would go as standard... is this the most common style? (and what other style's would've gone as factory standard on a 987.1)

I think the entry car came with 17s as standard. The image you uploaded I think is the 'S' 18 inch wheel. Here is a link to a pdf of the model brochure. The wheel options are on page 92. The standard wheels on page 41. http://coochas.com/brochures/Resources/Boxster_MY0...
