Hello, I'm trying to figure out an odd buzzing / whining sound upon deceleration. Its hard to hear in the video below, but sounds like a high pitched small motor whining. Almost seems like its coming from the air vents but I could be wrong. Happens on and off, the other day it stopped after 20 minutes or so of driving. Its only present when the car is under load, not at a stand-still revving. You can here it the first second in the video, then again at around 12 seconds. Thanks in advance.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Cant help but sounds great in between.
Something loose that is vibrating in sync with the engine (which will have vibration peaks at different RPMs.) Could hear it at about 1 second, 8 seconds then 12 seconds. I think you have to drive it at one of those RPM ranges while a passenger tries to track down a general direction of the source. I doubt if it's anything really serious.
thanks, borla catback.
I'm going to agree with this as well, harmonic vibration. I have a Soul system on mine, and the damn windblock/screen likes to vibrate sometimes.
My screw in trunk cover does the same at certain speeds!
Did you ever end up figuring out what this issue was? I'm dealing with a similar noise on a PDK.
