My battery is 6 years old and because I am having to trickle charge it more regularly I think it's on its last legs. Any recommendations for a new battery please?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I recently bought a new one for my 2009 Cayman, its under warranty so it had to be OPC supplied, it was a Varta - £215. Strangely online was more expensive. If you know anyone with a Costco card they sell Bosch at good prices.
Usually Varta F17 fits these
Get an RAC supplied Varta. They’ll fit it at home, even if you’re not a member and you get a 5 year warranty.
I'd buy either from Tayna https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/?gclid=CjwKC... or from your marque specialist https://www.design911.co.uk/fu/pt259_261_-cma81-cm...
