Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Category: Drivetrain Price: $4995 Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing Part fits: Aston Martin Location (State): CA Item Condition: Used Shipping Information: Item can be shipped Up for sale is the golden unicorn of hard-to-find-parts for an Aston Martin - a 6-speed manual transmission from an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. I had an issue with the differential in my V8 Vantage, and I ended up buying this entire transaxle to fix my issue. This transmission only has around 4,500 miles, and it looks extremely clean! Peering inside at the visible gears, everything looks mint with absolutely no traces of any debris anywhere. This gearbox is over $20,000.00 new from Aston Martin, and new gearbox purchases require a core - or you're subject to a very hefty core charge. I am asking $4,995.00 or best offer for this transmission outright, with NO CORE REQUIRED . I am a private party located in Southern California, and if you're not local, then this can be crated and shipped to you cheap! Send me a private message or post in this thread if you're interested. The part number on this transmission is 6G33-7002-AF, and cross-compatible part numbers include 6G33-7002-AJ, 6G33-7002-AK and 6G33-7002-AL. Click each picture below for a high-res picture!
just kidding, looks great y'all!
PRICE DROP! Make me an offer and take this off my hands!
ANOTHER PRICE DROP! Make me an offer and take this off my hands!
I guess the lack of response is a good sign for us owners. It seems to be a stout gearbox. When I owned Porsche's there was always instances of gearbox failures.
ANOTHER PRICE DROP! Transmission is still available; I completely forgot that it was in my attic. Take it home if you need it!
Great price but as mentioned above these gearboxes are very stout.
Wow, I've never seen these come up for sale! I've also never seen anyone drive their Aston so hard they blow their tranny lol. GLWS this is an awesome item for the price. Someone will need one and get lucky
Bump!

Price drop to $4,995! Someone pick this up as a spare and get it out of my garage..
