Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been offered a pair of hardback 18 way heated sports seats from a 997 Turbo. Would these fit okay? Would they look okay? Would it be a big job to swap over from my standard seats I'd really appreciate any views.

POST 2Original post

Can't help but are all the electrics self-contained?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, Yes, my indy said that too, I just called him. I know the memory function wouldn't work but he said all else should. I still need to ensure that the gen 1 (donor car) electrics would be compatible with my car which is gen 2 If it is, then I feel it may be a worthwhile mod, I'm budgeting for a total spend of £2,500-00 based on 2k for seats plus delivery plus install 500 quid. Do you reckon it'd be money well spent? I sat in some turbo seats before and they seemed really comfortable, plus I like the crested bit (yes I know that doesn't really add a lot of value)
