Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This might sound weird guys, but since i live in nigeria, i have to order my parts. My back tires are about 50% worn out and one of them has developped a serious wall bulge. I received ONE Potenza S-02 and ordered another one since I learnt that it is not good practice to only change one tire. My suppliers told me the Potenza S-02 is not available anymore and wont be.. They can supply me with the S-03 of same size. Other than the esthetics, you think drivetrain, differentials, TC's, handling, driveability can be affected with installing two different tires of same size (but same rating) Wael 996 C2 1999 Artic Silver

POST 2Original post

S0-2 and S0-3 are very different tires. I think it would be very unwise mix them. Why not go the full route and get 4 S0-3s? I have them on my car and they are excellent.

POST 3Original post

Definately will affect handling, breaking, etc. Get 4 S03's like Loren says. I've used both S02 and S03 in my 996 and they are not the same at all.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK thanks guys, am checking S02 availability in Dubai, if not i will order two new S03's, keep the S02's in the front they're still in new condition.. Wael 996 99 C2
