Does anybody make an aftermarket turbo style front bumper for a '99 C-2? dealer is telling me "no". Didn't anybody want to do this mod back in '99? Someone had to have made them then.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yes, there is an aftermarket Turbo style bumper for the earlier cars. It is sold by MAShaw.
I have seen advertised in Excellence @ www.gettydesign.com, the Turbo style and the GT3RS style front bumper. Good Luck.
Does anyone have any experience with the "996 Carrera Aero Kit Rear Spoiler" from M A Shaw? Is this the same as the one the dealer is trying to sell me for a lot more {part number: 996 512 903 00 G2X}? They look great, but I have seen some spoilers at local shops that were made out of fiberglass, which wouldn't last too long. I have noticed my car getting very light on the track and would like to try and fix that. For instance, hitting 100+ coming over the "Hump" on Tremblant with a stiff head wind, the car felt like it was ready for launch. -pete

One is theirs at $1450 and the other is factory for $2450.
