Hi All I have a 1999 Carrera 4 with a auto gearbox. My reverse lights do not come on when reverse gear is selected. I have had the switch on the gear selector looked at by a Specialist and have been advised that it is OK. I have no blown fuses and the bulbs are ok. Can anyone please advise me on where to go from here? Regards Stew

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If the switch is ok then perhaps try replaceing the bulbs or checking that you have a feed / earth at the bulbs when in reverse . If no feed then we work back to the switch .. ie is there a feed entering the switch and is there one exiting when in reverse .
