Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, my car lives outside,so subject to rain etc, just noticed that the carpet panel at bottom of door is wet, LH and RH door, especially just below door speaker...is this normal ? cheers

POST 2Original post

From one "oldtimer to another" ...that shouldn't happen under any conditions IMO. Have no idea what caused it, but it sounds like a trip to the dealer while the carpet is still wet!

POST 3Original post

I;ve had this for a month and the carpet really smelled bad only that the wet area was on the right side of the center console.. I suspected a/c condensed water pipe not flowing (flowwing or flowing??!!), but now it just stopped all alone.. Weird 996's.. weird.. Wael 996 99 C2

The water drainage tubes may be blocked or partially blocked. They are different on the Coupe and Cab... which is yours?
