Any Ferrari guys here know how long the waiting list is for a new 360 Modena these days? Sorry I don't follow any Ferrari boards.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sawmilldriver: If you are buying from the dealership, that is owned by the factory, which sells them at MSRP then the berlinetta is about 2 years, and the spider is about 3 years. But if you are willing to pay MSRP + $$$$ then almost any Ferrari dealer can get one for you quick. Hope this helps. I think the waiting time could be even longer; Ferrari gives first priorities to people who have owned ferrari's in the past..
Bocky is correct about the wait times for a car at MSRP. In fact, there are fewer Modenas being made than Spiders at the current time. Get on a Dealer list now and your # will probably come up in time to get the 420, if the rumors have any merit.
That explains why these things appreciate not depreciate in value!
I'm leaning more and more toward the " dark side " from Maranello. Porsche's product direction is bothersome and it's lousy resale is irksome. For the $140-150 K of a loaded Twin Turbo with the X50 package , the dealer would be " doing you a favor" to give you $100K trade in after a very short while. For that kind of dough, I'd rather be on the "MSRP wait list" of the 420 Modena .Drive a truly unique car for 2-3 years and sell it for close to MSRP - what a deal.
SpectraG is correct , I forgot to mentioned that those time frames are based on being a previous Ferrari owner, otherwise, add another year or 2. Sawmilldriver: You are partial correct, the limited production ones appreciates . But the over production models or models with poor designs depreciates just as fast as the 996s. MKW: I am also bothered by the path that Porsche is taking, I purchased a '02 Carrera C2 in Sept '01 for my son and just watching this forum talk about the poor resale has got me wondering if a MY03 or beyond would be a wise choice or not. I am worried that Porsche is beginning to think only about its own bottom line. Bocky '02 996 Carrera C2
I'm a former customer of F-LG and my salesperson is back after 7 years - maybe it's time to give him a call.
