Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

OK, I did a search but couldn't find the recent posts of the member from North Carolina who got fed up with his stock CS and was taken back by the amount of money he'd lose on trade in, so he shipped it to F-L and got it back. I was meaning to inquire with him and other F-L GTR owners and prospective owners about a few things: For one, in regards to the new front end, how do you feel about the lack of Driving Lights/Fog Lights? Is there something similar incorporated into the new front end from F-L? Do you miss the original fog lights of the CS? This is a functional matter and I am wondering about the lack of those lights. I value being able to light up the road so much [Let's face it. Overdriving headlights is a major safety problem!], that I have sometimes run hotter bulbs than I should have, than what was legal. There's nothing like being able to light up two miles of reflectors on the tarmac. But seeing where I am going is very important--especially up North as we have only five hours of day light in the winter. Call me a Philistine but there's nothing like driving a well tread car with four studded snow tires in the winter. Nobody can get around like a well shod pony car. And it's a blast of fun!

Yep, that's what I was looking for! And I happened across F-L before the CC and guessed who was offering that new coil over kit for PASM equipped CS's and almost announced it prematurely in that thread. I had ordered build number 20 out of 20 but my world fell differently than expected and I had to withdraw. Note, I didn't say cancel as I still have hopes but time will tell. So, in communications with Roger at F-L I had acquired little bits of information which let me guess when Ken kept everybody in suspense. Heck, I'll be happy for any stock CS.
