Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found this pic on the internet of a cover that goes over the top when its stowed. Is this a custom cover or can anyone tell me how this works or where it can be purchased?

POST 4Original post

it's something that can't stored in the rear or front truck when it starts raining.

POST 6Original post

It sure looks to me to be some sort of cover to hide the fact that the soft top has been removed. Look at the gaps and how it lays. There is nothing underneath (well no soft top that is).

POST 7Original post

Ferrari..... Looking at the badges on the side of the car.....

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Appears it is a custom job, finally got in touch with the owner and said he "made it." I do like the look but I think Parrot is right, looks like it required the top removed to install it.

I've worked with FG molding since forever, if that cover is less than 1/8 inch, it certainly fit over the standard 'down position' top. It looks like it may be a combination of a 'flat' section that has been mated to minor fitments.

Why would anyone do that? Oh yeah his car but you couldn't hold me totally responsible for the look I would give him at a stop light. Car looks nice otherwise.

POST 13Original post

I don't think it's the Ferrari horse. It may be a rooster. Which some brand of aftermarket parts uses.

POST 14Original post

Guys - It's the Stuttgart "Prancing Horse" Go look at the Porsche crest on the nose of your car... - 2 points for all of you... Rick

POST 15Original post

^ yeah but the decal was kind of small and blurry in those pics. But you are correct.

Yes indeed. Better pic now and can clearly see. Two points? I'm OK with that.
