Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

In evaluating the need for extended service plans (starting with Cayman/Boxster 2006-2008) , I think it would be interesting to do a poll on what Porsche manufactured (non-aftermarket) parts or service that an owner has experienced (approximate value of replacement parts and/or labor charges over $100. paid or, covered under warrantee) and, the number of miles on the car when the service was done. In this connection, I would like to ask the community, if there are any other >$100. parts that should be included in the poll? I don’t want to include “Other” as it would make it difficult to poll. Engine Electronic Control Module PCM PASM Wiring Harness Window Regulator Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Manual Transmission Tiptronic Transmission Suspension Oil Leak Airbags Coolant System Seats Headlights Radio Exhaust Header Shock Absorbers Steering Wheel Battery None After receiving the feed back from this thread I will be happy to start the poll. Based on the success of the poll, other model/years can be done. Thanks, -Stevie
