Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning, Quick question:- Anyone on here know for sure if the OEM Bilstein C4s/Turbo Suspension would fit a 98 C2 Convertable? I upgraded to the MO30 last year shortly after buying the car. My specialist kindly boxed the old suspension as it's in good working order. Cheers, BK :thumb:

POST 2Original post

I very much doubt it. Front struts on the C4s and turbo run at a different angle to clear the driveshaft. MC

POST 4Original post

Iv got a C4 NB, I assume this set up would fit but are there any differences in springs rates and stiffness of damper over the NB C4 set up. Lastly, am I correct in saying the C4s sits lower than the C4 by 10mm from the factory so these should drop my car in height ?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Quick online search: C4s:- HEIGHT 50.98 in/1,295 mm REAR295/30ZR-18 C4:- HEIGHT 51.38 in/1,305 mm TIRE SIZE REAR255/40ZR-17 So yes the C4s sits 10mm lower in stock format. and unless someone else knows better will drop your ride height. As far as spring and damper rates, I'd guess Porsche put them on the Turbo to manage the extra bhp so yes they'll be stiffer that the C4. I'd definitely speak to an Independent first as you don't want any rubbing issues. Cheers, Bk :thumb: :thumb:
