K-Man S - What is the optimum size photo you would like us to use to up-load, as to not spread to wide on the sites web pages? I plan on being @ Torrance’s launch next Saturday with camera in tow. Thanks... zornet

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

If you upload to the IMAGES section here the photos are automagically scaled for you. However, here in the forum they are not auto-scaled, so I prefer that people keep them to 800x600 or smaller if possible.
Since I've had a bit of trouble looking at members uploaded photos, and it is only going to get worse as more people get their cars, I thought I'd post my own advice on photos - 1) Make sure the width (not the height, which could end up being greater or less, depending on the orientation) is 800 pixels or less - 640 would be just fine also. 2) Be sure and select the box which locks the aspect ratio when you make the photos smaller - so they still look the same and don't get out of proportion. 3) Jpeg save them at a level of say 60% and try for a file under 75K, in the 25K-50K range would be nice. 4) If you upload more than one, put a extra carriage return between them - to make sure they follow one another in a top to bottom manner, so we aren't scrolling around to the side to see them. Hope that helps, K-Man S please add any advice I've missed. Edited by - K-Man-sculpture.net on 01/13/2006 11:31:40 PM
