Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Cool! Whatcha got on top? Can you tell us about that space saving lift system?

POST 3Original post

I like that lift - not only can you store a second car, but it can be used to work on a car. Congratulations on the car !!!

POST 4Original post

Sky, That is neat! Great idea, would love to know more about the lift system. Thanks Russ

POST 5Original post

It is a 1965 356 SC sitting on a four post lift from American Custom Lifts. Works great. Keep it down in the 356 driving months and can work on the car at what-ever height I need.

POST 6Original post

Skyhawk, Thanks for the info! You have 2 very nice cars. Aloha Russ

POST 7Original post

Congrats on the car.. Do you mind writing a short review on what you think of it? I really like that lift, Im actually saving up for one.

POST 8Original post

I dig that lift set-up, wish my garage were higher!

POST 9Original post

My ceiling height is 10 feet (max for my town) but is enough for two Porsches. Ride is as expected - half way between a Boxster and a 997. Some tranny noise cruising in 3rd and 4th gear at 3000 rpm in town, but not very noticable - just different from the Boxster. Must be from the enclosed compartment. Overall, just what I was expecting - but then, I've liked every Porsche I've had!

POST 10Original post

I could install the lift in my garage, but it would mean that we woudl have to eliminate the 3rd bedroom where my wife's office is now located.....hummmm wonder if she would mind? Russ
