Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Confused. 2007 Cayman . I hardwired a radar detector and now the windshield washer does not spray. I hear the relay engage and headlight washer works. ??

POST 2Original post

do you hear the washer pump whine? i have seen some that require pump replacement. location is left hand fender just before the left door.

POST 3Original post

I do not. I am assuming the headlight washer is a different pump since it works. I agree that it must be the pump and it had nothing to do with anything I did. Thanks for the info.

POST 4Original post

of course before rushing to buy a replacement, do check the fuses, and if your radar detector required removing the roof lining, for cars with the wiper sensor, the wires could have been disturbed. the washer tank & pump are accessible via the left fender lining.

POST 5Original post

Will do....I did slide the cord into the edge of the liner. The wipers work but not the washer. I will check this anyway. Thanks again for the input.
