Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Has anyone had any experience with full stainless steel Powerflow exhaust systems ? Im considering one, and wondered if anyone else had gone down that road.. its that or a Otelle

POST 2Original post

You know the standard system is stainless steel?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah sure, just wondered how the powerflows faired up, its complete with manifolds and tips.. looks the biz

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So you have the full system powerflow exhaust ? how does it sound ?

POST 6Original post

No. Just showing off my sports round exhaust tips. With X51 modified intake system (cast alloy), optimised inlet and exhaust ducts (machined and polished), adapted exhaust manifolds/headers (with uprated gasket). Schnell CAI Helmholtz resonator deletion K&N filter panel H&S PSE1 muffler bypass (Oettle). PS - that system looks effectively non-road legal (almost Super Cup racing spec.). Do you know the dBs it puts out? It has almost complete bypass and zero mufflers.

Not sure on the db but apparently sounds nice ! But if it's not road legal it's too much hassle to swap in and out once a yr for not I'll give it a miss me thinks , shame as I quite fancied that and at 300 quid for complete system seemed a bargain !! It's got silencers built in but no cats I guess there's no way round that for mot purposes is there, if peeps fit these do they swap them over once a yf for mot ? Seems lots of hassle and I bet it's a pig with the nuts n bolts .... Back to the drawing board or the otelle ...
