Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Fisrt ask your current Insurance company what discount they will give for the 2nd car without the NCB. If NONO then ask other insurance companies for a quote for 2 cars. 1 with NCB and the other without.

POST 2Original post

You could always insure it 3rd Party Fire and Theft...if you're not driving it you can't crash into anything so it can't be your fault so 3rd Party Fire and Theft (or whatever that's called these days) should be sufficient? Or you could go for a "Classic" limited mileage policy as it you can easily say it won't do more than 5000 miles a year...

POST 3Original post

You could also go for storage insurance on it if you have a garage this is v cheap

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have bought a Tuscan, which I pick up on Saturday, so until sold my 944S is to be demoted to 2nd car status. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to insure it, given my full NCB will be transferred to the new car. Cheers, Marcus
