Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I don't know where you are located, but in the immediate NJ/NYC area, I think you'd be doing OK on that deal. I also have a similar 99,only with a beige interior and with 15K miles-perfect condition- I was offered 46K to upgrade to a MY02 996 C2 coupe. I'm sure you are aware that the resale on the 996 leaves alot to be desired. There are alot of very good buys out there. Low mileage cars returning from short term leases are prevalent in this area.I think the other factor is unfortunately a quality issue. I have experienced all the usual MY99 problems as well as a trans failure.I'm glad I leased mine. After dealing with PCNA I will not be getting another Porsche.
