Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Seems like a vg buy to me.........if you like the colour. Green cars are bad luck.
thank you
It's only down the road.....go have a squizz
Subject to all the usual due diligence checks that looks like a bargain in the current market. Definitely worth a look. :thumb:
Looks like a great buy at that price! Ticks all the boxes, early 3.4 (no bore score or ims bearing woes), cable throttle, 2wd, manual, rare colour., good history, low mileage. Why is it so cheap....? Go find out and get it bought! Welcome to the special order colour club The colour reminds me of "the" colour to have a 90 spec mk2 golf gti in, oak green. I would loose the chrome grilles and fit black mesh instead behind the bumpers though. Rare optional sports 3 spoke wheel if factory fitted (not rare if it was fitted later). And I may be biased but it has he best OE wheels on it, also a rare factory option if fitted from new. These are worth over a grand in good nick alone.
Rainforest Green I think looks rather nice. The MOT history doesn't suggest it's been particularly cherished though and it's got very cheap tyres on it, so I wouldn't be surprised if it needs quite a lot of cash spending on it to get it up to scratch, but at £13k that would still make it a cheap early 996. :thumb:
Reviewing the pics, looks like it needs new rear engine mounts as the tailpipes look low / squiffy. Very very common, a couple hundred in parts and easy to do.
Looks like a great find! Plenty of paperwork. Go for it
I think its worth that price even if you end up spending £5k on it to make it mint (I'm not saying you will, but any old car has that potential). Early 3.4s with this mileage are not common anymore, especially not in black or silver.
Looks very good value a definitely worth a look.
Looks like they deal in classic / kit cars. Seems well priced and enthusiast owned. I like the unusual colours. Whilst I have a slate grey car I'd be happy with forest or jade green. Interiors I'm flexible too but couldnt stand beige / savannah regardless of the rest of the being perfect. Yuk!! Worth a look. Ian
Going to give it a coat of looking at on Sunday thanks for your input will get back with how I get on
