Valid opinion even if I strongly disagree with it . The Spyder RS is a niche car and definitely not for everyone. One thing that I find a bit strange is their reference to feeling a relative lack of low rpm torque in the GT3 engine. Which doesn't seem to agree with the objective data of the torque/hp curves of the GTS4.0 and GT4RS (proxy for SRS) engines. @WGA as you are fortunate enough to own both a 718 Boxster GTS4.0 and a GT4RS - what is your perspective on low end torque between the two cars/engines?

Weird video. I was with them until the 981 talk - definite 60 year old dude opinion. For everyone who got a Spyder RS allocatIon, please spec something other than black, white, or silver for when I buy one second hand 😂

4RS feels stronger down low...but not by much. But I am possibly biased because I do not like the engine in the BGT4.0 at all. As a result, it is my least favourite car and would sell it in a heart beat if my wife hadn't banned me from doing so. She loves it.

From my perspective it is more the gearing than the engine. Although the GTS is slightly detuned from the Spyder so maybe there is a bigger difference there that I am unaware of. For the record 1st gear in the Spyder and by extension the GT4 sucks 🤣
