Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Borrowing heavily from another member who pioneered the attempt....Here is another (maybe second?) C2 with an OEM turbo wing attached. I decided against chopping the top of the decklid and only progressively cut the lower area. You need to loosen and widen the OEM hinges to fit, bracketing of latch is custom and spoiler fitment have various options. I think it turned out decent. Wiring is basic C2 harness w/ bridged 2, 5 pins to prevent any spoiler lights. Fan is stock and cut a hole in turbo plastic to allow C2 airbox breather. OEM turbo front, GT3 side, RS rear. Status seats. Pretty close to complete per my taste.

Hey guys new to the forum and though i'd share this little mod. Im sure most of you have seen tons of these, but never hurts to share. It's a 997.2 GT3 rear deck lid and wing from Tony @Precision Porsche (precision911.com) and Fit and finish done by Chris @Sterling_Auto_Con! Awesome dude! here are a few pics..

Seems you can find them on eBay but didn't get them there. Status ring CF

POST 6Original post

very nice, now you need the front GT3 bumper to match. or you already have it?

POST 7Original post

I love that wing, where did you get it? I want one

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is from a 996 Turbo, stock wing. The decklid doesn't fit by default so I had to chop it with air tools then got it painted. Here's the original post: http://996trunk.blogspot.com/

POST 10Original post

Is that a GT2 rear bumper? Very nice! Would like to see more clear pics in daylight.

POST 11Original post

I applaud your efforts and results! Seems like a lot of work to gain the look. More power to you. Does the wing rise up/down like the turbo's?

POST 12Original post

Looks great! Is that an RS4 sharing the garage with the 911?

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I decided against "making room" (remove airbox/secondary air) for the stock hydraulics, so went with fixed post install.

POST 14Original post

I am jealous...nicely done. Is that Atlas Grey Metallic?

POST 15Original post

Congrats on the wing modification thats the route I was wanting to go but didnt want to deal with all the modifications needed!

POST 16Original post

@coreyC2S Thanks! Yea its an RS4 =) @tphan its Basalt Black Metallic ill post more pics...

POST 17Original post

POST 18Original post

@Arrera911 and yea it had the OEM Rear GT2 bumper.

POST 19Original post

Good looking wing. Blends in real good with the rest of the car. The seats also give your car a sporty look

POST 21Original post

Hey, are you trying to take our business? Haha, J/K Very nicely done! It looks sweet!

POST 22Original post

I had Chris do the finish and paint on my Gt3 rear deck lid, excellent work for sure!

Quotes source post: 4389436

Quote: Sweet wing OP. Yes that's an oem GT2 rear bumper cover. This was Turbofever's car that he had for sale here for the longest time. Very tastefully modded, and best of all, a brand new crate motor w. warranty! https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-warranty.html

POST 25Original post

The wing really complets the look. Well done and great looking car.

POST 26Original post

Looks great! Especially love the garage and car selection (997.1 turbo and '07 RS4 here as well in Orange County) -- not to mention the hookah!!

POST 27Original post

@ qwkslvrnsx Yes, this was Turbofever's =) Super cool dude!

POST 28Original post

Nice ride, this thing was up for sale for AGES....

POST 31Original post

Thanks for the thumbs up fellas....soon to change things up....BBI Roll Cage, Damptronic Coilovers, and GT3 Brakes setup, GT3 Front Sway Bar, GT2 Rear Sway Bar, Front Rennline Strut Brace....and maybe GMG Wheels....

POST 32Original post

Who makes the rear bumper? I love the look. Assuming its a GT2 rep.

POST 33Original post

It was mentioned that rear is OEM GT2, so how was it fitted on a narrow body C2S?

POST 34Original post

Anyone else purchase from this vendor? If so, how did the parts hold up over time?

POST 35Original post

@philly911, @jam996, the rear is an OEM GT2 rear bumper custom fitted to fit narrow body. There is a small lip on each side because of the wider GT2 rear but ultimately it all fits good. @Rbarbieri, for what part, the wing?

POST 36Original post

Looks great, my 2nd favorite wing, 1st being the GT3RS wing.

POST 37Original post

Saw a 997TT on the CA-241 this morning with the GT3RS wing. Looked great.

POST 38Original post

Where is the small lip you mentioned? under the tail lights?
