Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

hey dude, this is not rocket science. We are in a double dip recession. The 2002 inventory is still on the lots and the 2003's are on the way. This dealer just got stuck with a big ticket item on which he most likely got a 5% deposite on. You bid him below sticker, because these things have traded at sticker since March and it's the end of the season. All they can say is NO. Common get a deal. YOU CAN DO IT
I would be surprised if you get a significant discount, unless you are a multiple repeat buyer. It IS the end of the model year with 2003 on the way. But, there is a price increase for 2003 and the demand for the C4S remains high. Still, it can't hurt to make an offer. I'd go for 5K off MSRP, and see what happens. Good luck!
I agree with Palting price-wise, although I think the odds of getting the car at this price is pretty high given that the dealer wants the car off his lot, and he is already grinning to the bank with a 5% deposit paid by the individual who cancelled. There is a (every-so-slightly preowned) Lapis Blue C4S being advertised on eBay here that is going for $79,985. MSRP is $84,910. You do the math. Regards.
With the DOW now piercing below the 8K level and the recession going into full swing, dealers are now getting real nervous and beginning to feel serious angst. Holding $80K vehicles month after month is no cake walk. They are taking rolling up their neatly starched and monogramed shirt cuffs and sharpening their pencils. Now it's your turn to deal! You're in the driver's seat!
