so i had my cayman parked at the car wash and started her up. i went to pull forward, slowly letting out the clutch, and i was on top of a manhole. i didn't give it enough gas and she stalled out. no big deal right? well when i turned the car off and back on, i noticed the panel for the a/c would not illuminate. as if the car didn't have any AC at all. i pulled the car forward, shut her off, and turned her back on again and bam - ac was back on like nothing happened. haven't scanned for faults - any thoughts?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I would guess that when you stalled the power interuption caused the AC not to restart correctly. An example of the fuuny things that go on when the electrics are interupted was when I had the AC off with a almost dead battery but still after a minute or so 3 bars for the fan speed showed....and why does the PSM warning come on when the battery dies?
