Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys, My battery is struggling to start the engine so thought to change it for my spare (New Bosch S4 010) so I could charge it back up. I turned on the ignition as per normal procedure, removed the battery, put in the new one and nothing?? No power, no nothing. The Bosch is fully charged, so couldn't understand why there was no power going through. Put the original battery back in and right away, radio starts up and CD changer starts whirring away. Anyone know what could be happening here? For the time being the original is back in the car, and i've put the Bosch back on a trickle charge (charger is showing it as fully charged) till tomorrow when i'll try again after work. I'm stumped! Any help apreciated!
