Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This popped up on YouTube the other day and I did find something new. Had no idea that holding the unlock button on the key lowered the windows and holding the lock button raises them. I do have a question for the forum on the tip this guy left at the end on rain sensors - that the 981s have the sensor built in and it just needs to be 'coded' to enable auto wipers to work. I found reference on a US forum that when coded your intermittent wiper becomes auto wipe on the stalk. Has anyone had this done?

Yep, holding lock / unlock button works a treat on the 981 and later Boxster roof.  It's become my wife's show off party trick 🙂
