Can anyone tell me how to install the auto-dimming interior rear view mirror in a 1999 Cab? How do you remove the leather trim at the top and left side of the windshield so the wiring harness can be routed to the fuse box? How is the original mirror removed from the windshield?
If you bought this from a dealer then go back and ask them for the TSB that has the instructions. This is somewhat involved and differs by model year. You will need a special tool (or need to make one) to remove the mirror. If all else fails send me your email and I'll dig up the several pages of instructions.
