Am thinking of going this route with mine and wondered how many people here have done it already and their experiences. 8)

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Lee with the blue GT2 is the only person in the UK i know of running them, this is the way i plan on going with my car but im sorting the supporting mods first.
yup Bonkers!
I want to do this also as i have seized wastegate. I have asked around at various turbo speacialists to see if they do exchanges on the ones i have on the car now but alas no. They do offer to service the turbos for a reasonable price though, which will solve my wastegate prob... TheK24s they were offering are a good bit cheaper that porsche supply too.. I had a quick look underneath the other day... Gulp... All the nuts holding on turbos, manifolds etc are no longer bolt shaped anymore so it will be a heafty job to change out. Cheers
Supporting mods? Any performance data?

Good luck with the sale Lee , just a shame its about a month too early for me :nooo:
Thanks Neil The car is featured in this months 'tried and tested' section of 911 Porsche World mag and there is a viewing today so it could sell. Cheers Lee
Ah, I did send you a PM via the PH ad, but only have K16s. It's a shame we don't have the same models as I would have been interested in all the bits + swap out of mine. If you somehow come across the standard parts for your GT2 and the uprated bits become available, just let me know :thumb:
Will look out for the mag Lee , hope the guy takes it then you can get on with the new project. Im fitting Motons to mine next week , turbos are next on the shopping list once my bank balance recovers or some of my parts sell.
Motons will be awesome! Do you have a good supplier? I would love to go that route with the 964 but I have heard if fitting issues with the bump/rebound adjustment point.
Yes sorry I really need the K24's in exchange. If you can get the K24's I will do you a deal on my K24/18g's and 5bar FPR, everything you need except the tune. I could probably help out there too
Lee I'm giving this some thought - send me a PM for what you'll do the 24/18s + 5bar in exchange for my K24's. :thumb:
Hello Miras I think the car is possibly sold. Fingers crossed! First person to drive it, I knew would want it! Will let you know. Cheers Lee
