Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Something a previous car group I was involved in did was to create a register of as many cars as we could find and their spec from factory. With there being around 150-170 gen 2 UK cars it may be easier than the previous task BUT obviously a lot of these will now no longer exist (perhaps if you know of any that have been written off and what to keep it confidential you can PM me). More than happy for someone to do this with other 996/997/RS but I have a keen interest in this as I have a .2 997 myself. Overtime I'll compile a list of all available colours and options and create some charts to get a feel of what is common and uncommon. I'm fully aware this may take years and many of you may think I'm an anorak for doing this but there is no rush and (for me at least) it will interesting information regardless! So if you have a 997.2 GT3 and want to post it up brilliant!
