I’m taking an ‘07 Cayman back to stock for daily driving and the biggest challenge is converting back from an electric to hydraulic steering pump. I’m staring with the hard lines and am trying to figure out where the 3 - support braces go. I’ve searched the interwebs for pics without any luck. Does anyone have some undercarriage pics of where the lines are supported by chance?
Post up a pic. Are you talking about the motor or rack end? What e-pump were you using?
Specifically the 2 supports on the rack end of the hard lines. I haven't started working with the lines up to the pump yet. I'll get a picture posted up this evening. I bought the car that was originally Rob VN's. Pump is already sold. About all I have left are the accusump, a BBK, Cayman R shocks, and Tarett shock mounts. Here’s a pic:
