It seems everyone get GT sport steering wheel as compared to the standard wheel. I went to the local OPC and they had a few 992s on display but all had the GT wheel. I wanted to see both wheels but coudnt. I noticed that GT wheel does obstruct the view of some dials. Is it a must to upgrade your 992 to GT wheel? Any opinions!

They all obstruct the outer dials to some extent so most go GT and live with a little less to see and a more sports car feel. Standard is too much if not the same as four door Porsches.
