Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm 6'2" and the engage/disengage point in my 01 C4 seems too far from the end travel, floor. Maybe I'm spoiled by so many years of driving my 78. It is mechanically actuated and thus adjustable to personal measures/desire. I've had the car for almost a year now, and a 99 before that (same problem) and I just can't seem to get the hang of the clutch. It helps if I slide the seat back but then the steering wheel seems just a tad too far away for comfort. Anyone know of a fix?

POST 2Original post

I'm only 6'0" but it helped me to move the seat bottom back (leg reach)... then tilt the seat a little forward (correct arm reach). Maybe this will help. My second problem is that I can only wear a helmet with the sun roof open (or at least tilted up). I'm thinking GT3 seats for that one.
