I've just come from my first visit to a dealer where the cars are outside and I could get a real stand-off look. I looked at a Guards Red with base wheels and a black one with 19' SD's from a front 3/4 to slightly side view. To me the car aft of the rear side window looked way more agressive and powerful in Black. I think this had as much to do with the more or less constant color of the dark windows-dark body color-dark wheel well-dark tire as it did the 19's. The Guards Red(or any other light color I would assume) cut up the rear of the car as a whole and made it look weak.Having said all that about light colors the Arctic did not have thataffect, maybe it's just the bright light colors. The 19's may have played a role because they filled up the wheel well. I know people point out that the rolling diameter is the same, but it does make a difference on any car. I will admit I'm a little sensitive to this and I have lowered 2 cars, a Honda and Audi that you could see the inside of the tire just standing next to it. These wheel wells are a little big, but the bigger wheels made it less noticeable. To put it in perspective one of the guys standing around the cars loved the Guards w/ base wheels and didn't care for the SD's. They also thought the Cocoa interior was an awful throughback to the 80's. I went there to see this combo on a leftover BBlack Boxster and nowI know why it's a leftover.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
