Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi all I am almost done with the horrific job of clean up and replacement of my AOS While attaching the intake plenum and throttle body, the vacuum hose snapped and now I can't seem to get the 1/4" hose such inside the vacuum unit. Does anyone have any idea how to remove it? Does it even come off or is it glued to the vacuum unit Thank you

POST 2Original post

Try prying it upward with a small flathead screwdriver inserted where the cutout is...get under it and work it up slowly. Some penetrating oil can help break it free. The rubber gets sticky from the heat and wear, but once it starts to.move it will come off without much force. You can also run a blade up the fragment, again through the opening/slit up the side.

POST 3Original post

How about drive a screw into the hose...this will give you something to grab with pliers.
