What is exactly the difference? Is it just spring rate or will they not physically bolt in? Thanks,

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Physically won't bolt in is my understanding. Hub design is different due to presence of front drive-shafts.
After looking at some eBay comparisons, the rear struts have different lower mounts. The '99 C2 looks similar to the Boxster; but the front mounts look the same as the C4/turbo. Weird.
Front and Rear are physically different than the C2 dampers.
