Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was hoping someone could recommend a good mechanic in Jindabyne NSW, as my 2011 Cayenne has gone into limp home mode with potential diesel particulate filter blockage. Nrma just offered a tow and said the alarm was the glow plugs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

POST 2Original post

I've had this happen on a few occasions. The glow plug type light does come on. In my case I shut down the engine, turned on again (warning light disappeared) and then gave it an Italian tune up. If the filter is too clogged it may need replacement.
