I've had my centre console dismantled a few times over the past week trying to get an ILCDR30 cable from discountcarstereo working. The main problem has been trying to find a power supply wire that is switched. It's been a bit of trial and error and just now I've had to put a manual switch in to turn off the adapter as I can't find a switched source behind the radio. Each time I've dismantled the console I've noticed this white wire but basically steered well clear of messing with it. It struck me at the weekend that it may be a switched power line tho. Does anyone know what the wire is for (it seems like it's sitting there waiting on another piece of equipment/option) it has anyone used it in the past? Cheers PS; I'll do a write up in the cable and installation later on once I've got it all in permanently.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
