Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You are 2 days too late for April fool's day. I clicked on this topic ready to do battle. Good one.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. That is all that I am going t say.
I read your subsequent post on the 993 forum page....do you own a Porsche or are you living vicariously on the internet?
Rolo, Oh well nothing is perfect but get off the topic!
Which Nissan are you referring to? Is it the new 350z that's coming out? I believe that it's receiving accolades for design in Japan. And remember when companies like Lexus wanted their cars to emulate the Mercedes. It would be a compliment that Nissan should try to emulate Porsche's new car. I do give you this the 993 is a great looking car but so is all models in the Porsche line-they all have their advantages and disadvantages. The 996 has the best blend between performance and attributes of a gt car. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Regards. Mike
Had the 300ZX T-top (not TT) been still in production I would have had a very difficult time deciding between it and my 01 AWD 996. Actually given the problem I had with two sequential 911 orders/dealers I would have likely given up and ordered the 300ZX. In July of 98 I "ordered" (actual order didn't go in until Sept of 99) and made a deposit on a MY2000 AWD 911 at Barrier motors and they sold it the moment it arrived and said they didn't have any record of my deposit, which they "found" and returned later. Carrera motors of Bend Oregon did exactly the same thing later that year, July of 00, and then said sorry, and returned my deposit. Apparently AWD 911swere in short supply and the dealers could get a lot more than MSRP if they could steal someone's allocation. So, if you bought an Arena red/grey 996 AWD with aerokit from Barrier in mid 00 you have "my" car. Same if you bought a Black AWD aero from Carrera in late summer of 00. But, mine looks one helluva lot better then either of yours, so there! http://www.hobbystage.net/porsche/whatever
